Purolator gives back
Purolator International is committed to improving the lives of our employees and the communities we operate in. We recognize that our success comes from the contributions of our employees across the U.S. and north of the border. We are also grateful to the communities that have supported us over the years. Purolator Gives Back (PGB) is a way to demonstrate that gratitude.
Part of the mission of PGB is to give back to the communities we serve through volunteer service and company donations. We support and participate in both national and local causes with pride and pleasure. In addition, Purolator International matches employee donations to the causes we support.
Together, we look to contribute to these important organizations because we believe we can make a difference. Our employees strive to always give back locally to the communities we are involved in.
Some of the national organizations we support and participate in are United Way, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Wounded Warriors and Beacon House. Every year we participate in local charity drives, including Toys for Tots. Additionally, our regional offices contribute to local organizations such as Long Island Cares, Long Island Harvest, Long Island Coalition for the Homeless, AHRC and Habitat for Humanity Home Builds.
The other part of PGB’s mission it to give back to our employees. We value the people who work at Purolator International and recognize that they are our most important resource. Purolator International staff across the country benefit from a variety of PGB activities. Some events include Health and Safety events (eg; Step Challenge, Marcum Challenge, North American Occupational Safety and Health Week, Wellness Fair), Cultural Diversity Luncheon, as well as company sponsored family outings.
We post many of PGB’s activities on our social media pages.
